Wwise Tour Online | Sound as Storytelling

When crafting rich virtual worlds for players to immerse themselves in, a rich tapestry of storytelling is woven across all disciplines. This comes into sharp-focus with the role of sound and music. For this year's Wwise Tour, we are honored to be hosting miHoYo presenting Genshin Impact, and Sucker Punch presenting their work with Ghost of Tsushima. Hosted online for the very first time, we welcome the world to join us for this Wwise Tour on Twitch. As always, the event is free for all who are interested or passionate about interactive audio.

During our highly anticipated Wwise Tour, we are joined by some of the very best game audio teams around the world who take us behind the scenes to share their projects and expertise, and expose their creative and technical thinking.

“When we talk about storytelling, we often think of plot, characters and action, but what about tone, pacing and feeling? The team will deconstruct certain systems and scenes to provide a glimpse into some of the ways audio helped tell the story of Ghost of Tsushima.”
